Fiber reinforced polymer composite is special technology used to diversify the existing product line of different area which adds up and enhance the ordinary performance level of ground product. As of natural gift, we have easy reach jute which shows enormous possibility of using it as natural fiber to reinforce polymer composite and thereby add value in our product line. Renowned scientist Dr. Mubarak Ahmad Khan, DG, Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission who owns over 370 publications emphasized this possibility in the “Hafiz Uddin Ahmed and Fatema Ahmed Trust Fund Lecture” arranged here in BUTEX auditorium on September 01, 2016.
Professor Abdul Mannan, chairman, UGC attended the lecture as chief guest and Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin were present as special guest. A large number of textile experts from different universities and organization also attended the session presided over by the honorable Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh University of Textiles.
