Mrs. Shilpi Akter, Assistant Professor has been assigned as new head of the department of fabric engineering. An introducing ceremony addressed by Honorable Vice Chancellor of the University was held today where Dean of the Faculty, departmental teachers and senior students were present.
The honorable Vice Chancellor expressed his commitment to establish BUTEX in leading position in education and research area. Dean, Additional Charge Prof. Dr. Shah Alimuzzaman welcomed the new Head and offered generous help from his side.
Students and teachers welcomed their new Head with warmest greetings and felicitation.
The new head expected help from all sides and gave necessary instruction to students regarding their course work.
