BUTEX has approved a new department named “Department of Dyes and Chemicals Engineering” which will start its first batch from Academic Year 2016-2017. It has been allowed to admit 40 students in Level-1 Term-1.
The ultimate target of establishing this department is to initialize the infrastructure and manpower development in the country so that our country can manufacture required Dyes and Chemicals being used in Textile Processing.
The upper echelon of the University feels responsibility for capacity building of the country so that we can retain more by blocking the drainage of foreign currency. We congratulate the personnel of this new department and welcome the new students to be admitted this year.
