Probably the most important topic of the current era considering the transactional period we are going through- “Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)”, SESSION 1, was held on 14th of October in BUTEX seminar room. The workshop was arranged by the Dept. of Fabric Engineering in association with BUTEX Computer Club.
Md. Salman Fahad (senior software Engineer, Semicon BD) was present there as keynote speaker along with some of our respectable teachers of different department of BUTEX.
The goal was to inform the students about the importance of Application of Computer in Textile Industry and to eradicate the fear of working on software being a Textile Engineering student. It also emphasized on how a student should think while working on a software concept.
The session proceeded describing the importance of software in any system whether it’s a textile industry or anything like that. The speaker brought light on the importance of thinking like a software engineer in any field of respect for a person.
Towards the later half of the workshop our respectable teacher Mr. Dewan Murshed Sir shared his personal experience regarding the topic to make it even more clear to the students. On asking about the benefit of this seminar, several students summarized there experience the way as- “this might encourage us to work on software and cleared the steps to be taken to develop a software”.
The whole workshop was very well patronized by BUTEXCC.
