In the inter university football tournament – 2016, Bangladesh University of Textiles took lead by beating Bangladesh University of Professionals by 2-1. The match held today in the Dhaka University play ground was led by BUTEX with a goal from Pias, the notable midfielder of the team. After the interval, the difference was again heightened by another goal from Kawser of BUTEX. The opponent team with all its strength tried to minimize the gap and finally succeeded just before five minutes of the end. With the final whistle from the referee, BUTEX won by 2-1.
Among the audience, faculty members from both sides were present to encourage the self-side. The campus greets the victorious team and all its supporting staffs cordially.
